The Executive Board of the South Carolina Baptist Convention offers two (2) types of scholarships for those seeking a church related vocation. The Church Related Vocational Scholarship (CRVS) is for undergraduate students and the Richard Furman scholarship is for seminary students seeking a masters or doctoral degree. Please read below for descriptions, qualifications, and application information.
Undergraduates
Church Related Vocational Scholarships (CRVS)
The CRVS is for undergraduate students attending an accredited college/university in SC.
If you have made a public commitment to a church related vocation and meet the other qualifications, then you just might qualify.

Masters or Doctoral Seminary Students
Richard Furman Scholarships
The Richard Furman Scholarship for masters & doctoral students attending one of the six Southern Baptist Seminaries - listed to the right. If you have made a public commitment to a church related vocation and meet the other qualifications, then you just might qualify.

Do You Qualify? If you meet the qualifications including a public commitment to a church related vocation, you may apply for the 2010/2011 school year after January 1, 2010.
The DEADLINE for submitting a completed application is:
Midnight (EST) MARCH 15th
